About SPIKYJUMPER©
SPIKYJUMPER© is me, Jake Peet, the bald guy in the photos. My father gave me my first camera, a Kodak 126, when I was four and I've been passionate about taking pictures ever since. Spiky, later lengthened to Spikyjumper, was a nick name in those days, so when looking for an identity for my photography, it seemed appropriate.
After a two year general art & design course at Reigate School of Art (1989-91), I went on to study photography at the Kent Institute of Art & Design, graduating in 1993.
Based in Farnham, Surrey and working all across the south east of England, I strive to create wedding photos, corporate and personal portraits and event photography of people at their best – relaxed, happy and natural. I show people 'how they are', not contrived, not uncomfortable. Real photographs of real people how they really are.
I'm also a freelance creative artworker and graphic designer and split my work between photography and design for print. To find out more visit my Creative page.
